Armenians honour genocide victims

Beirut - More than 20,000 Lebanese with Armenian roots took part in a rally in Beirut to mark the 80th anniversary of the massacres of their people by forces of the Ottoman Empire. Speakers called on the international community to "force Turkey to recognise its guilt in the first 20th-century genocide'' which began on 24 April 1915. Armenians say 1.5 million died AFP
