Bombs thrown at Sinn Fein politician's home
Police in Northern Ireland are investigating a petrol bomb attack on the home of Sinn Fein MLA Mitchel McLaughlin in Derry overnight.
Two devices were thrown at the house in the Bogside area at about 1am.
The four people who were inside at the time were not injured, but scorch damage was caused to the property.
Three men were seen running from the scene.
The attack was the third time that Mr McLaughlin's home has been targeted by suspected dissident republicans.
