Indian government to take action against websites that 'insult' politicians
Indian prosecutors are planning to take Google, Yahoo, Facebook and other websites to court for refusing to remove material considered insulting to Indian politicians and religious figures.
Government officials argue that such sites are "promoting enmity between classes and causing prejudice to national integration".
Facebook is already committed to removing material which "is hateful, threatening, incites violence or contains nudity".
