Two of the three hotel employees who were arrested in Mauritius for the murder of a Northern Ireland woman on honeymoon have confessed to the killing, the country's commissioner of police has told Irish radio.

Dhun Rampersad also told the state broadcaster RTE that the third suspect has been charged with conspiracy. Michaela McAreavey, the 27-year-old daughter of Gaelic football manager Mickey Harte, was found strangled at the Legends Hotel in the village of Grande Gaube on Monday. Her body was flown back to Belfast yesterday.
