North Korea has released a video featuring scenes of a city resembling New York getting destroyed.

The footage sees a man nodding off and dreaming about a space shuttle flying around the earth before zooming across a city engulfed in flames.

The video was posted on the nation's official website Uriminzokkiri which is used to disseminate news and propaganda for state media.
