ASSIUT - Gunmen thought to be Muslim militants ambushed policemen and senior UN aid workers on a road in southern Egypt yesterday, killing five people, all Egyptians. The deputy Unicef representative in Egypt, Vanessa Tobin, a Briton, was unhurt. Reuter
