Bolivian leader admits mistakes
The Former Bolivian president, Jaime Paz Zamora, accused of links with drug traffickers while in office, announced on Saturday that he had erred and was quitting politics, Reuter reports from La Paz. 'All i want to say is there never were crimes.' Mr Paz Zamora, who left office eight months ago, said on television. 'But just as clearly, I must admit there were mistakes, imprudence or poor judgement'.
