Britain protests over Iraqi court's 'Grotesque' sentence
Britain protested to Iraq yesterday over what it called 'grotesque' jail sentences imposed on two Britons for entering the country illegally, Reuter reports.
A protest 'in the strongest possible terms' was lodged with Zuhair Ibrahim, Iraq's most senior official in London, the Foreign Office minister, Tristan Garel-Jones, told reporters.
