Practice

R v Burley (Donald); CA (Cr Div) (Lord Taylor CJ, French, Longmore JJ); 7 Nov 1994.

The rulings governing the filing of documents relating to appeals were not there for perverse reasons but to enable the Court of Appeal to manage its business in a proper manner. Time limits must be obeyed unless there was some very good, exceptional reason not to.

Dafydd Enoch (Yanakas Achillea & Co, Holloway) for the applicant.
