China criticises HK on talks
HONG KONG (Reuter) - A senior Chinese official has accused Hong Kong of disclosing details of Sino-British talks over deadlocked financing for the colony's new airport. 'The British Hong Kong officials have unilaterally announced some contents of the talks. This will easily stir up controversy . . . ,' the pro-Peking Wen Wei Po newspaper quoted Wang Fengchao, director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, as saying.
