Croatians shell Muslims in Mostar
SARAJEVO - Croatian forces unleashed a heavy mortar barrage on Muslim fighters and civilians trapped in the southern Bosnian city of Mostar, a UN spokesman said yesterday. At least 46 Croatian mortar bombs hit the encircled Muslim sector of the city during the night as fighting increased between the former allies in the war against Bosnian Serbs. The UN also reported fighting between Muslims and Croats around Novi Travnik and Gornji Vakuf in central Bosnia-Herzegovina. Reuter
