Dated bones in Moscow

MOSCOW (AP) - Human remains found in Moscow's zoo, and originally thought to be a mass grave of Stalin's victims, may actually date back to the 16th century, an official said yesterday.

Workers found a large stone covered with inscriptions and ornaments - experts from the Moscow History Museum say the inscriptions are in ancient Slavonic and that the slab is a gravestone of the 16th or early 17th century. The Moscow zoo is 130 years old.
