Bombay - Morarji Desai, a dour and ascetic veteran of Indian politics who became the country's oldest prime minister, died aged 99. The government declared seven days of mourning for the strictly orthodox Hindu who held strong beliefs on how to live a healthy life and on the evils of alcohol. Reuter
