Armenia suffers
YEREVAN (Reuter) - Armenia raised the price of bread and most key services, piling on the agony for people already battling to survive energy shortages. Prices for gas and telephone calls went up tenfold, electricity charges rose by more than seven times and the cost of water supplies rose sixfold. Bread rose from 30 roubles (3p) a kilogramme to 45.
