BRNO (Reuter) - The Czechoslovak republic will cease to exist next year, the Slovak Prime Minister, Vladimir Meciar, said. 'We assume that the Czechoslovak federation will cease to exist by 1 January 1993,' he said during a break in negotiations with his Czech counterpart Vaclav Klaus on future relations between the two regions of the republic.
