French raids over killings
Paris (Reuter) - French police detained 27 people yesterday in raids to try to discover whether gunmen who killed two Spanish tourists at a Moroccan hotel had accomplices in France, Interior Ministry sources said. The raids, mostly in the Paris area, included house searches and targeted people close to three young Frenchmen of Algerian origin and a Moroccan living in France who were arrested in Morocco after last Wednesday's attack in Marrakesh.
