Gas pipeline explodes in central Russia
A natural gas pipeline exploded in central Russia, sending a column of flame dozens of meters into the air, the news agency Interfax reported.
There were no immediate reports of injuries in the explosion outside Dubovy Umet in the Samara region about 550 miles southeast of Moscow, the report said.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the explosion.
