Georgia 'ready to negotiate to end hostilities'
Georgia on Sunday told Russia it was ready "to immediately start negotiations" on a ceasefire and end of hostilities.
Georgia's Foreign Ministry handed to Russia's embassy in Tbilisi notification that its armed forces were ceasing military actions from Aug 10, Interfax news agency said.
Interfax quoted a Georgian Foreign ministry statement as saying that "all Georgian armed forces have been withdrawn from the zone of conflict".
