Lichtenstein painting vandalised
The unnamed 35-year-old German woman from Munich was visiting the Kunsthaus Bregenz exhibition "Roy Lichtenstein - Classic of the New" on Saturday when she vandalisedNude in Mirror. She made four cuts, each 12 inches, the police said. The painting, owned by The Rush Family Collection in New York, had been insured for $6m (£3.26m).
A museum visitor and an employee held the woman until police arrived. She scratched an officer in the face and bit another in the leg during questioning, police said, adding that her purse contained a can of red spray paint and a screwdriver.AP
