Oil prices hit
LAGOS - Nigeria delayed some oil shipments yesterday, pushing up world prices, as a four-week strike by workers to force out the military government hit petroleum exports for the first time. The US civil rights leader Jesse Jackson arrived in Lagos on his way to the inland capital Abuja to deliver a message from President Clinton to the miltary ruler, General Sani Abacha. Reuter
