Several people were trampled by bulls on day six of the famous San Fermin festival in Pamplona on Sunday.

The footage below shows participants running for their lives as a herd of bulls run the 825 metre journey to the bull-ring. Watch below to see several people crushed by the animals weighing over 500 kilograms.

The Red Cross reported that one person may have sustained a broken arm, but no one was gorged on this occasion. A rarity - four people had been gorged the day before.

The bull-run often leads to many injuries and sometimes even death – fifteen people have been killed since official counting started in 1911, with the last person dying in 2009.

The nine-day fiesta runs from 6 to 14 July and attracts thrill seekers from around the world.
