Poll boost for Japan's PM
The Japanese Prime Minister, Morihiro Hosokawa, is basking in record public esteem as he faces a crucial period of his short rule, Reuter reports from Tokyo. The poll, carried out by the daily Yomiuri Shimbun, showed support for his cabinet at 73.5 per cent.
