Rival gunmen kill 37 in bus
New Delhi - At least 37 people, 30 of them from the Naga community, have died in the far north-east of India after gunmen from the rival Kuki clan waylaid a bus, locked it and pushed it into a gorge.
In apparent retaliation, Naga militants dragged two Kukis out of a bus in Manipur state and shot them dead. Clashes between the tribes, which have both formed their own armed groups, have claimed several hundred lives in recent years. AFP
