Rumours that Serrano might step down
President Jorge Serrano was yesterday meeting a group of army commanders on Guatemala's constitutional crisis, officials said, amid persistent rumors that the President might step down, AFP reports from Guatemala City. The meeting followed a second round of talks between the President and a diplomatic team led by the Organisation of American States Secretary- General.
