Rushdie denial

Iran has no plans to track down and kill Salman Rushdie, the parliamentary speaker, Ali Akbar Nategh Nuri, told the Tehran Times AFP reports from Tehran.

'We did not and will not send commandos to kill that apostate as it is not our policy,' he said.
