Saudi calls for UN to use force against Serbia
JEDDAH (Reuter) - Saudi Arabia called yesterday for the United Nations to use force against Serbs who have overrun most of Bosnia. The Muslim world's leading conservative nation urged Islamic states to press the UN to invoke its charter - as it did against Iraq - and take action against the Serbs.
'We have to demand full implementation of Chapter Seven of the UN charter, including Section 42, to force the Serbs and the government of Belgrade to comply with Security Council resolutions,' the Foreign Minister, Prince Saud al- Faisal, told a meeting of Islamic foreign ministers.
