Shark and visitor size each other up at the Nausicaa Marine Centre in Boulogne. The centre has been built to celebrate the city's links with the sea, and help it to compete with other Channel ports after ferry sailings from Britain were drastically cut earlier this year. Other exhibits include a tuna aquarium and environmental displays.
