Travel ban

The Saudi authorities have banned more than 60 university professors from leaving the country, according to the London-based Islamic rights organisation Liberty, Charles Richards writes. They had signed a petition seeking the release of three colleagues detained for proposing the establishment of a committee 'for the defence of legitimate rights'. The three are all Islamic radicals.
