Greeks say farewell to Mercouri

More than 300,000 Greeks escorted the actress and politician Melina Mercouri to her grave, applauding and showering her coffin with petals, Reuter reports from Athens. The coffin was carried on a gun carriage past the parliament where she served as a member for 16 years.
