Haiti meeting
The exiled Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide agreed to meet the military rulers who ousted him for talks on restoring democracy to Haiti, Venezuela's United Nations ambassador Diego Arria said AP reports from New York. Venezuela, with the US, Canada and France, drafted a Security Council resolution imposing an oil and arms embargo on Haiti from midnight today.
