Haitians welcome
SAN SALVADOR - Five Central American countries have agreed to take in Haitian refugees temporarily, according to a joint statement issued by the office of El Salvador's president. El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua will accept refugees fleeing Haiti's political and economic crisis by sea 'in accordance with the terms, time frames, conditions and numbers' to which they have agreed.
