Khmer Rouge blamed for death
Cambodia's King Norodom Sihanouk believes Khmer Rouge guerrillas probably killed a British mine clearance expert abducted more than one year ago.
In November, the British-based Mines Advisory Group gave a $120,000 (pounds 75,000) ransom to a Cambodian who said he could get Christopher Howes out of the Khmer Rouge base of Anlong Veng. He never showed up and $40,000 was returned in February. Reuters - Phnom Penh
