Los Angeles murder record
Los Angeles residents killed each other in record numbers in 1992, authorities said on Monday, Reuter reports.
Statistics released by the city's police department showed there were 1,063 homicides there from 1 January to 21 December last year, 24 more than all of 1991, the previous record.
