Maghreb row over visas
RABAT (Reuter) - Tension between Algeria and Morocco has erupted into a full-blown dispute over entry visas. Morocco now demands visas for Algerians after the killing on Wednesday of two Spanish tourists during a robbery at a luxury Moroccan hotel. The robbery was blamed on a gang made up mainly of Algerians. Algeria responded by demanding entry visas for Moroccans and closing the border. Two suspects, both Algerians, were arrested on Saturday.
