Mandela scheduled for eye operation

Johannesburg - South African President Nelson Mandela goes into hospital for an eye operation this week. Mr Mandela told journalists: 'It's a simple operation. I'll be in hospital for a day and then I'll be back here answering your questions.' Reuter
