The leader of Iranian pilgrims to Mecca urged Muslims to turn out in large numbers for an anti-Western demonstration, AP reports from Nicosia.

A similar demonstration six years ago turned into a confrontation with Saudi police in which at least 400 people, mostly Iranian pilgrims, were killed.
