Mother's collapse after Collor feud
BRASILIA (Reuter) - The mother of Brazil's scandal-plagued President Fernando Collor de Mello had a heart attack yesterday after her other son said the President would probably like to see him dead for accusing him of corruption. Leda Collor de Mello, 74, was taken to a Rio de Janeiro hospital, where her condition was said to be stable.
Although there was no immediate suggestion that her sons' feud touched off the attack, friends said moves to impeach the President had put her under stress.
