MPs in revolt
HARARE (AFP) - Ruling party MPs staged a revolt in Zimbabwe's parliament on Wednesday, refusing to pass the budget for a new ministry created by President Robert Mugabe.
They accused Didymus Mutasa, the Senior Minister of National Affairs, Employment Creation and Co-operatives, of heading a 'useless' department that was his former Ministry of Political Affairs in disguise. The new ministry's budget was 40 million Zimbabwe dollars ( pounds 4m).
