Her decision came after she had announced the formation of the political movement Harmony 21st Century to oppose her husband, President Alberto Fujimori, in the vote on 9 April. Lima (Reuter) - Peru's deposed first lady, Susana Higuchi, said she would run for president in April's election despite a law barring presidential family members from seeking high office. 'I accept the challange and I will run for president,' she said.
