Mubarak endorses death sentences
Egypt's President, Hosni Mubarak, yesterday endorsed the death sentences on nine Muslim militants - five of whom are on the run - who tried to assassinate the Prime Minister, Atef Sedki, in November, Reuter reports from Cairo. The militants have 14 days to appeal.
