Rebels in Burundi say 10,000 have been killed
by the army since its coup on 25 July and they called on regional African states to maintain their embargo. The army said soldiers found the bodies of the Roman Catholic Archbishop Joachim Ruhuna and a nun eight days after they were killed in an ambush in central Burundi.
