PLO purges internal security service
TUNIS (AFP) - The PLO is purging its internal security service amid dissent about peace with Israel and the discovery of an assassination plot against Yasser Arafat, Palestinian sources said yesterday. Dozens of Palestinian security agents and bodyguards of PLO officials have been arrested and jailed by the organisation, said the sources. Among those arrested were the bodyguards of the PLO economics chief, Ahmad Koreia.
