Plot to kill King Hussein

The government confirmed yesterday that security forces had uncovered a plot to assassinate King Hussein during a graduation ceremony at a military academy in June, AP reports from Amman. Six military cadets and four senior members of an outlawed Islamic fundamentalist group have been arrested in connection with the alleged plot, according to an official statement carried by the state-run news agency, Petra.
