Rabin hopeful
Jerusalem (Reuter) - Yitzhak Rabin, the Israeli Prime Minister, said yesterday he hoped Washington would block any sanctions brought by the United Nations to force him to repatriate some 400 Palestinians he expelled to Lebanon.
Mr Rabin spoke after the UN Secretary General, Boutros Boutros-Ghali, called on the Security Council to take 'whatever measures are required' to force Israel to obey a UN order to bring the men home.
