Rabin's offer to allow deportess home in return for end toIntifada
JERUSALEM (Reuter) - The Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, said yesterday the deported Palestinians could return home early if the Palestinian uprising in the occupied territories was halted. 'If the heads of the PLO supporters and the heads of Hamas (a Muslim fundamentalist group) . . . promise to halt the intifada, and this would stand the test of time for nine months, I would bring them back early,' said Mr Rabin.
