Rocket attack kills 13 in Kabul
A barrage of 40 rockets hit Kabul yesterday, killing at least 13 people and injuring 17, AFP reports reports from Islamabad. Radio Kabul blamed the Prime Minister Gulbuddin Hekmatyar's Hezb-i-Islami faction for the attack. While agreeing to the temporary truce with Mr Hekmatyar, President Burhanuddin Rabbani rejected any such arrangement with the Uzbek warlord General Abdul Rashid Dostam, an ally of the Prime Minister.
