The Mexican attorney-general's office said yesterday that at least seven people were involved in the assassination of Luis Donaldo Colosio, who was likely to have become the country's next president, AP reports from Mexico City. The number includes four men who had been hired to guard Colosio during his campaign appearance in Tijuana on 23 March, including the head of the local security detail.
