Sixteen drown in Durban floods

AT LEAST 16 people died and another eight were reported missing in two days of flooding near Durban, South Africa.

Three people died and five were injured when a car, a van and a petrol tanker drove into a four-yard-deep sinkhole that opened on a highway 25 miles west of Durban.
