Slum disaster

The tropical storm Bret killed about 100 people in and around the Venezuelan capital, most of them in ramshackle houses on hillsides, AP reports from Caracas. More than 300 people were injured and 3,000 left homeless when heavy rains caused the earth to give way under three slums.
