Somalia woes

London (AP) - The model Iman said yesterday she suffered 'emotional agony' when she saw first-hand the effects of civil war and famine on her Somali homeland.

Iman, 37, wife of the singer David Bowie, earlier this month went back to Somalia for the first time in 20 years to make a documentary for the BBC. She told a London news conference she wanted to put 'a face on the pain' of the country.
